History

The 1Up 1Down Ryderz Motorcycle Club was founded on February 3, 2002 in Montgomery, Alabama.   The 17 original founders are Sony, Jesse, James, Alfred, Terence, Eric, Quincy, Kenny, Collin, Cornilus, Ralph,  Ivan, Tyrone, Corey, Vernon, Clarence, Shawnn, and Earnest.

The founders shared a passion to ride motorcycles, and a common goal to create a sport bike motorcycle club in Montgomery that wasn’t all about terrorizing the streets, but helping our community as well.

Our plans are to ride  through-out the year, give back to the community and to have fun while doing it.  Our motto is to “Always keep 1 wheel UP in the air  or 1 knee DOWN to the ground” hence the name 1Up 1Down Ryderz.

We have officially become a co-ed club and dropped the sports bike only from our bylaws as well.  We welcome all genders and all bikes.  We also would like to welcome the Jewelz to our club, they are now officially RYDERZ.
